(All activities may be subject to change for School use at any time. Sherborne Sports Centre has the right to change or discontinue classes at any time by giving two weeks prior notice. All classes are on a first come first served basis, with a maximum of 16 in any one class (12 for indoor cycling).

ABS
A short sharp session to isolate your abs and core. No matter what your age or fitness, this class caters for all.
Get the toned stomach you’ve always wanted! Tuesday 12.30-1.00pm and Wednesday 7.00-7.45pm
KettleCore
An intense 30 minute class, performing a variety of exercises using our Kettlebells. Designed to improve muscular endurance and tone your whole body. Thursday 12.30-1.00pm
Body Conditioning
This class provides low impact, strength and toning exercises, all over the body. Focused on ensuring you have fun, whilst conditioning and burning unwanted calories. Monday 11.00am-12.00 noon
Stretch n’ Flex
A low impact class designed to improve flexibility, ease muscle tension and reduce stress. Whether you play sport or prefer gentle exercise, all can benefit from this hourly session. Monday 9.25-10.25am and Friday 6.00-7.00pm
Bar-Belles
Weight training doesn’t necessarily mean huge muscles. A 6 week crash course designed to teach everything from correct technique to basic programme design. Mondays 7.30-8.30pm from 4th March.
Insane Circuits
Want to swap fat for abs, build solid muscle and bolster your CV fitness? Insane circuits will leave you breathless and wanting more. Thursdays 7.00-8.00pm
Indoor Cycling
Indoor cycling is a spinning style class suitable for any age or fitness level using stationary bikes with a fixed fly wheel in an instructor-led programme. Click here for more about the benefits of aerobiking. Indoor cycling classes are 45 minutes. £5.00 per class – FREE to Platinum Plus members.
Easy Rider
Come along to our fun 30 minute indoor cycle sessions. Whether you want to get your heart racing or just want to come along for the ride. Each week a different route to a different soundtrack.
Boxercise
This weekly class has become very popular with all age groups and abilities. It incorporates both an aerobic and anerobic workout and is ideal for all over body conditioning and fitness.
LBT and Pump and Tone
Both of these classes are ideal for those wanting a hard fast work out. Additional hand weights, body bars and resistance equipment is used to work and strengthen those all important areas.
Pilates
We have ‘Pilates Institute’ qualified instructors at the centre ready to teach beginners and improvers alike. Classes are usually in the mornings and the evenings through out the week.
Aqua Fit
We also have three STA/Water Fitness Aqua instructors in house. The classes are normally in the mornings but for full details please call the reception.
ZUMBA!
Zumba® is a dance exercise routine that involves fabulous Latin American music. It’s fun, it’s funky and it’s fast becoming one of the most popular ways to get fit in the UK. Monday 12:15-1:15pm with Mandy £4.00 per class, pay as you go. Thursday 8:00-9:00pm with Simmone. £4.00 per class, pay as you go.
ZUMBA GOLD® Tuesdays 10:30-11:30 The Zumba Gold program targets the largest growing segment of the population: baby boomers. It takes the Zumba® formula and modifies the moves and pacing to suit the needs of the active older participant, as well as those just starting their journey to a fit and healthy lifestyle. It’s a dance-fitness class that feels friendly, and most of all, fun.
Swimming Lessons
We also have eight STA qualified swim teachers in house. The swimming lessons are run on a termly basis, and are for children from 2-16 years and adult who are either learning to swim or are just wishing to improve their general technique.
