Charity Chase 2015- REVIEW

On Sunday 1st November we held our 2nd Annual Charity Chase. This year we chose to raise money for the male prostate cancer appeal “Movember”.

It was a foggy day but nearly 100 adults and children turned up to support this amazing charity. All competitors were asked to wear, grow or sport a moustache for their designated run. The children’s family runs were either 1K or 2K and these races took place around the School campus. The adult runs, either 5K or 10K took place around the town and up around The Terraces.

Everybody had a great time and we must thank all the marshals, The Hub café and Waitrose (who supplied refreshments) for helping make this event happen. Last year we raised money for Help for Heroes and this year we raised £494 for Movember.

We appreciate weekends are precious to you all, but what better way to spend a few hours with your kids encouraging them to get fit and healthy? So what’s next year’s Charity Chase you may ask……. well you will have to watch this space but I suggest start preparing now!
